Itinerary
Day 1: Fly Overnight to Iceland!
There are many ways you can fly to Iceland. We will update you on your arrival time.
Day 2: Arrival & the Wonders of the Reykjanes Peninsula
Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Welcome to Iceland! Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, your group will be greeted by your private guide and driver for the week. We will head straight into adventure with a scenic tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula — a geological marvel where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge rises above sea level. Expect steaming geothermal vents, lunar-like lava fields, and dramatic ocean cliffs.
Later in the afternoon, unwind at the Sky Lagoon.
Check in to the hotel in Reykjavík and enjoy the evening at leisure.
DAY 3: GOLDEN CIRCLE & GEOTHERMAL TRADITIONS
Wednesday, March 18, 2026
Today, we will explore Iceland’s most iconic sights along the Golden Circle route. First stop: Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly pulling apart, creating dramatic rifts in the earth. You’ll also learn about the park’s historical importance as the site of the world’s oldest parliament.
Next, visit the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s most famous — and most breathtaking — natural wonders. Then it’s on to the Geyser geothermal area, where the Strokkur geyser erupts every few minutes in a thrilling burst of steam and boiling water.
In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a unique cultural experience: a private geothermal bread-baking session at Laugarvatn. Discover how Icelanders have baked rye bread underground using geothermal heat for generations — and of course, taste the delicious results!
Return to Reykjavík in the evening.
DAY 4: SOUTH COAST SPECTACLE & GLACIER ADVENTURE
Thursday, March 19, 2026
We will head to the south coast for a south coast tour!
Stop at the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind the cascading curtain of water, and then visit Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s largest waterfalls, where rainbows often appear in the mist.
The highlight of the day awaits: a guided glacier hike on Mýrdalsjökull, a glacier that sits atop the infamous Katla volcano. Equipped with crampons and guided by glacier experts, you’ll trek across ancient ice, marveling at crevasses and ice formations — a truly unforgettable experience.
In the evening, settle into your cozy guesthouse in the charming village of Vík.
DAY 5 KATLA ICE CAVE & RETURN TO THE CAPITAL
Friday, March 20, 2026
This morning begins with a thrilling off-road excursion to the Katla Ice Cave, one of Iceland’s most unique natural wonders. Hidden within the glacier near the Katla volcano, these deep blue ice formations are hauntingly beautiful and constantly changing.
After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you’ll journey back to Reykjavík, taking time to enjoy the stunning landscapes along the way. In the evening, the group will go out for dinner and if the group wants we will set up some wine tasting.
DAY 6: CULTURE, CREATIVITY & FAREWELL FEELS
Saturday, March 21, 2026
Spend your final full day in Iceland immersing yourself in Reykjavík’s rich culture. Begin the day with visits to local museums — options include the National Museum of Iceland, the Reykjavík Art Museum, or the futuristic Perlan, which offers both natural history exhibits and a 360° observation deck. Next, enjoy a guided Reykjavík city tour, exploring the city’s vibrant streets, colorful houses, hidden street art, and major landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall, and the Old Harbour.
This evening, your group will come together one last time for a farewell dinner (included), celebrating the unforgettable memories you’ve made on this Icelandic journey.
