our story
Ventre’s Adventures began in a classroom. Our owner, Kristy Ventre, is a high school teacher and avid world traveler. The more she kept traveling, the more she realized that her students could benefit from traveling as well. She began sharing stories of her time abroad, and her students loved it. They were constantly asking questions about the places she had been to and the people she had met. Eventually the questions shifted to “can you take us?” Worldwide connections and with student interest enabled the launch of Ventre’s Adventures: an educational, adventure company with a purpose to expand the cultural mindset of students.
Our Approach
When the pandemic hit, Kristy realized that people of all ages could benefit from outdoor adventure and education. Not only would it challenge their comfort zones, but it would keep them healthy. She expanded her mission to include adults and domestic travel. We could not be more excited with this new chapter!
Our small business approach and eco-friendly vision are what set us apart from other companies. We believe in the power of small and localized businesses because we are one. Forget big buses and generic vibes! That’s not our style. We prefer a communal approach to travel, and we love to give back to the local economy by partnering with local vendors.

Wanderlust Extraordinaire. Cappuccino Enthusiast. Airport Hopper. Kristy is always on the go. Whether it’s her love for the classroom or her love for her company, she is constantly working to create the best possible experience for the people around her. She has traveled to over 32 countries on 6 continents, and is your go to girl for all things international travel. When she’s not working, she enjoys finding new outdoor adventures with her family and friends.
Emma Moore
Unleashed in the Southeast Rep
Emma has been a part of many adventures, and is ready to take it a step further and join the team!! With the last few months of college quickly approaching, Emma attends the University of Colorado with a pre-med course. She is passionate about the study of sociology and traveling to learn the cultures of those around the world. When she’s not studying or traveling, her time is spent with her adorable pup Quinn or somewhere spending time with family, as she is the oldest of four. Emma is super outgoing, loves to be around people any chance she gets, and makes the best out of any bad situation that approaches. She loves the idea of being out of her comfort zone, and can’t wait to see where this opportunity takes her!
Emily Bergeon
Intern
Emily is the very first intern for Ventre’s Adventures! She loves how trips and experiences take people (and herself) out of their comfort zones. Greece, South Africa and Iceland are on her bucket list, and she swears by cookie dough ice cream. She is super excited to be interning this year, and can’t wait for y’all to see all the amazing trips and experiences Ventres Adventures has to offer!
