our story
Ventre’s Adventures began in a classroom. Our owner, Kristy Ventre, is a high school teacher and avid world traveler. The more she kept traveling, the more she realized that her students could benefit from traveling as well. She began sharing stories of her time abroad, and her students loved it. They were constantly asking questions about the places she had been to and the people she had met. Eventually the questions shifted to “can you take us?” Worldwide connections and with student interest enabled the launch of Ventre’s Adventures: an educational, adventure company with a purpose to expand the cultural mindset of students.
Our Approach
When the pandemic hit, Kristy realized that people of all ages could benefit from outdoor adventure and education. Not only would it challenge their comfort zones, but it would keep them healthy. She expanded her mission to include adults and domestic travel. We could not be more excited with this new chapter!
Our small business approach and eco-friendly vision are what set us apart from other companies. We believe in the power of small and localized businesses because we are one. Forget big buses and generic vibes! That’s not our style. We prefer a communal approach to travel, and we love to give back to the local economy by partnering with local vendors.

Owner
Wanderlust Extraordinaire. Cappuccino Enthusiast. Airport Hopper. Kristy is always on the go. Whether it’s her love for the classroom or her love for her company, she is constantly working to create the best possible experience for the people around her. She has traveled to over 32 countries on 6 continents, and is your go to girl for all things international travel. When she’s not working, she enjoys finding new outdoor adventures with her family and friends.
Melissa J. Morgan
Program Coordinator
As Program Coordinator, Melissa oversees administrative operations and ensures that every detail of our programs is well-organized. With years of experience participating in Ventre’s Adventures, she brings both firsthand insight and a passion for helping others embark on memorable journeys. Melissa knows firsthand the excitement of exploring new places—her favorite memory so far is meeting Highland cows and spotting King Charles during our UK trip.
Kate Herman
Social Media Manager
Kate is a junior at Milton High School and has recently taken over our social media channels. When not dancing, Kate loves to travel (especially to lakes and beaches), and post with her friends–making her the perfect fit for our social media take over!
