Hi, Hola, Ciao, Selamat Siang!

I’m Kristy Ventre, a high school teacher and a student travel coordinator currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. I teach, I photograph, and I live on airplanes. I blame my constant sense of wanderlust on the University of Georgia, the greatest college in the world that also gave me my first experience abroad. Since my summer in Verona, Italy, I have been obsessed with travel. 32 countries and 6 continents later, I created an amazing lifestyle that my high school students are now a part of.

As a veteran high school history teacher, I am always striving to create meaningful learning experiences for my students. The longer I’ve spent in the classroom, the more I’ve realized that cultural interactions and engagements benefit my students much more than the memorization of specific dates and events. With that, Ventre’s Adventures was created!

Ventre’s Adventures LLC is designed to provide students and groups with authentic cultural experiences. Through an added emphasis of eco-friendly and adventure travel, Ventre’s Adventures leads hundreds of high school students abroad. In addition, Ventre’s Adventures applies the same philosophy of student travel to general group travel. We currently journey to Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America.

I like to think that Ventre’s Adventures makes a small impact in the big world for my students. If students return home with a new found sense of self and the world around them, then, just maybe, they’ll become global citizens for the community in which they live.
