Voted One of The Top countries to visit in the in the world by National Geographic, Peru will fuel the outdoor adrenaline seeker and language enthusiast. After landing in Lima, we journey to the desert oasis of Huacachina where students will sand board and eat dinner underneath the stars.  From there, we fly  in to Cusco, where we will slowly acclimatize as we explore the Sacred Valley, Salt Mines, and markets. Of course no trip to Peru is complete without a hike through Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain!

Meet Your Tour Director

Nominated as one of Atlanta’s “Most Inspiring,” Kristy has ventured to over 34 countries across 6 continents. The more she kept traveling, the more she realized that her students could actually benefit from traveling as well. For six years, she briefly worked with a big business travel company, and took her students abroad during the summer. Her students had good experiences, but she felt like she could take their experiences one step further. Through all of her travels, Kristy has made connections with people and places all over the world. These connections, married with student interest, enabled her to launch her own business, and Ventre’s Adventures was born!

From downtown Lima to smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, this vast country is a paradise for the active traveler. Giant sand dunes, chiseled peaks and Pacific breaks lie just a few heartbeats away from the capital’s rush-hour traffic, and all the usual suspects – rafting, paragliding, zip-lines and bike trails – are present. Spot scarlet macaws in the Amazon or catch the sunset over ancient ruins. Take this big place in small bites and don’t rush. Delays happen. Festivals can swallow you whole for days. A $400 non-refundable deposit is due at time of signing with monthly payments following.

Cancellation Policy:

180 days or more prior to departure: full refund except the $500 non-refundable deposit, all non-refundable fees including flights, and a $200 cancellation fee.

179 to 110 days to departure: full refund except the $500 non-refundable deposit, all non-refundable fees including flights, and a $400 cancellation fee.

109- 45 days prior to departure: full refund except the $500 non-refundable deposit, all non-refundable fees including flights, and 50% of the program price

44 days or less prior to departure:no refund will be issued.
